Yesterday’s Chariteam corporate team-building event at the Radisson Blu Hotel, at the Zurich Airport was a full success — even if the day had its own sense of humor.

At first, it felt like everything was working against us. The traffic wasn’t just slow — it was frozen. A major accident had brought everything to a standstill, and for a while we were honestly afraid we might have to cancel the event. Something that has never happened before.

But before the stress could take over, a different feeling came in: gratitude. Gratitude that we were safe. Gratitude that we were simply waiting, while others had a far tougher moment ahead. We sent our thoughts to those involved in the accident — because that was what truly mattered in that moment.

Still, the question lingered: What if we really have to cancel the event?

And that’s when the magic revealed itself.

Just as we were stuck on the highway, the team at the venue was stuck too… in a meeting that ran much longer than planned. They weren’t ready yet. We weren’t late. Somehow, the timing aligned itself without anyone controlling it.

By the time we finally arrived, the team was ready. Shortly after they stepped out of their meeting, we walked in. Just… right. Coincidence?

And in the end, the event was not only saved —it became one of the most magical ones we’ve had.

A very special thank you to Lisa Wölfle, one of the strongest supporters of our project. Without her amazing help, passion, and continuous belief in what we do, days like this simply wouldn’t happen. 💛

As the team was in their meeting and unavailable, our only point of contact was the hotel. And wow — what a lifeline they were. A huge shout-out to the incredible staff at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Zürich Airport!

Their calm, friendly, and solution-oriented support over the phone helped us make the very best out of a difficult moment.

Here’s to purposeful work, unexpected moments, and corporate teams who make a difference — together.
